Major Problems

The following are problems and defects that have come to light during the use of the houses. Some of these are very serious and threaten the life and health of the occupants. Others cause the buildings and furnishings to deteriorate. All of them are very troublesome and so far have not been repaired.

In the houses, the following were noted: rainwater leaks into the living areas, cracking joints on balconies, hollow tiles on balconies, terraces and patios, roof and terrace drainage pipes that were too small in diameter, lack of ventilation in bathrooms, poorly built chimneys, inappropriate materials used to build fireplaces, lack of vents in fireplace surrounds, cracking walls, floors and fence walls, missing some switches for lighting, leaking pool installation and lack of drainage around foundations.
